For those interested,
I do take commissions. Commissioned work I’ve done in the past
have included designs for posters, programs, tattoos, logos, surfboards,
and character portraits. If you’re interested in commissioning
me for work that is not character portraits then email me with the
details and we’ll work out the specifics. For all character

So you’ve looked through my character portrait gallery and decided I’m the man to bring your character to life. Excellent, now follow these simple steps to make it happen
1) Send an email to find out if I’m currently available for commissions. I, like everyone else, lead a busy life. But I always try to make time for a few commissions a month. If I am available I will respond to your email by asking you to follow the next few steps.
2) Fill out the list of categories below and write a paragraph or two describing the characters background and personality.

If you have a suggestion for a specific pose then by all means tell me, as it will give me further insight into the character. I can’t promise I will stick to it though, as I like for the character sketch to be free to take on a life of its own as I work. But if you absolutely insist that the specific pose you have in mind is what you want then I will do my best to honor your request.
3) The size of the completed drawing will be 8 ½ x11 so choose what type of portrait you would like; Pencil, Ink, or Color and then Email me the completed info from step 2 and I will confirm your order.
4) Once I confirm your order, make payment through PayPal (my account is BrantPowell@hotmail.com ) No work will commence on your portrait until payment is received. Please add $5.00 to your order to cover the cost of postage, lamination, and supplies.
5) I will email you a rough sketch of the work in progress within a week. At which point I will make the changes you suggest, or finish the drawing, depending on what you decide.
6) Once the portrait is complete I will email you a scanned copy as well as mail the original to you.
